Spreading Happiness Among Children through Small Acts

Xã Phong Bình, Phong Điền District, Thừa Thiên-Huế Province, is a commune classified as a difficult area (according to Decision No. 1049/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister dated June 26, 2014, on the issuance of the List of administrative units in difficult areas).

To share the economic burden of particularly disadvantaged families in the commune and support children to attend school, the Youth Union of the Provincial Market Management Department of Thừa Thiên-Huế, in collaboration with the Student Support Club of Hue University of Sciences and Phong Bình Commune Youth Union, organized the “”Smiles for Children”” program. They distributed school supplies such as books, pens, and notebooks to help these children start the new school year.
