Small Steps, Huge Difference: JOY FOUNDATION’s Initiative to Green Da Huoai and Da Teh Forests

One tree, one brighter future

Recently, thanks to the collaboration of Joy, 17,000 trees have been planted in the Đạ Huoai and Đạ Tẻh Forest Protection Areas. This is a proud achievement of forest rangers, conservation officers, and local residents.

Tree planting has contributed to regulating water sources and water flow, helping protect the environment and combat climate change. In times of heavy rain due to tropical storms or low-pressure systems, the upstream forest protection will help minimize the risk of floods and soil erosion, while retaining water and regulating flow for rivers, lakes, and high-gradient hydroelectric dams in hilly areas.
