Teachers and students at Hiep Tan Primary School (Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City) are implementing the “”Experience Vegetable Garden”” model to serve the teaching and learning needs of students, combined with fundraising by selling vegetables.
At the model, teachers will guide students in applying the knowledge they have learned into practice or organizing lessons in the vegetable garden.

“Not only does it raise funds to provide scholarships to students in the school, but the money earned will also be given to students outside the school,” said Ms. Minh Nguyet.

Kim Ngoc and Trung Kien (5th-grade students) are excited and enthusiastic about introducing vegetables to parents for the first time.
“At home, I often help my mom pick vegetables, but this is the first time I have grown and sold vegetables. I’m very happy!” shared Kim Ngoc.
In the academic year 2022 – 2023, the vegetable garden has raised over 9 million VND and provided 30 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.
