Enjoying a Warm and Fun-Filled Mid-Autumn Festival at Giac Ngộ Temple, Ho Chi Minh City
The Mid-Autumn Festival is the most eagerly awaited day of the year for Vietnamese children. To bring joy and unforgettable memories to the lotus buds, on the afternoon of September 23rd (9th day of the 8th month in the Year of the Quy Mao), Giac Ngo Pagoda (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) organized the Moon Festival.
The evening festival attracted more than 600 preschool and primary school children aged 3 to 12 to the pagoda for a retreat. The children immersed themselves in the joyful and warm atmosphere of the festival with various cultural activities, lion dances, and intriguing riddles. Giac Ngo Pagoda always shows care and love for the children – a place where everyone can find love, sharing, and connection with each other.
At the end of the festival, the children received meaningful gifts such as beautiful lanterns, delicious mooncakes, and Interactive Story Books for the “”””Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade”””” with over 20 lively interactive activities, creative ideas, and cultural lessons, along with more than 100 colorful stickers. The children will gain a complete understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival and experience happiness with their families. These small gifts from Sach Tot Dep and Giac Ngo Pagoda have contributed to bringing a joyful and memorable Mid-Autumn season to the children.
It can be said that the Mid-Autumn Festival night at Giac Ngo Pagoda is a meaningful activity that contributes to bringing a joyful, warm, and love-filled Mid-Autumn season to the children.
